Our advise to the novice of the
breed is to purchase a book on the British Bulldog, make sure its
written by a British author that is associated with the breed. Read the
book and absorb the information, this knowledge will help you rule out
the rogue breeder that is causing all the health problems within the
breed. When speaking to a breeder ask as many technical questions as
possible regarding the bulldog standard, if you are not able to get the
correct answers leave well alone! Don't purchase rejects!
Check
out other websites and research the breeders that are advertising that
they are show kennels or even experienced breeders, when they
simply are
NOT
!! They have just purchased a dog
or a bitch and are trying to make money on the backs of the elite names
for financial gain. The Kennel Club and Bulldog clubs throughout the
country can confirm any query of who has shown and who has not, and the
length of time the breeder has been in the breed, this way your research
will be thorough, will save you a lot of heart break in the long run.
There are many
breeders out there that copying our web-site layout, design
and technical information, displaying photo's how to undertake
matings on their own, displaying the Celticpride mating cradle, the
microscope for swab testing, even the centrifuge for the ovulation blood
testing etc to enhance themselves for stud work, this is all for
financial gain on the back of our name due to our success, we can only
APOLOGISE for their efforts. with a little research and surfing
different web-sites you will see who they are.
Many breeders request the use of
our photo's for their web-site as evidence of matings, this is
acceptable and appreciated, i don't mean to tarnish them at all.
IF you can't impress people with your genuine honesty and brilliance, please don't baffle them with your lies and Bullshit, Give the public more credit & respect.
